Apple Pie Frozen Yoghurt Bites

Ingredients
- 1 apple, cored and roughly chopped (peeling is optional)
- 1 tsp ghee (optional)
- pinch each of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt
- 1 serving of yoghurt (150-200g)
Instructions
Thermomix
- Add apple to mixing bowl with ghee and spices. Saute 5mins/varoma/speed 1 with simmering basket on top of lid.
- Scrape down sides and set aside approximately half of cooked apple.
- Add yoghurt to mixing bowl and combine 10sec/speed 8.
- Either dollop mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper, or pour it into a silicon mold of your choice.
- Top with reserved apple.
- Freeze for 3-4 hours or until ready to eat.
Conventional
- Add apple to saucepan with ghee and spices. Saute on medium heat, stirring, until soft.
- Remove from heat and set aside approximately half the apple for later.
- Add yoghurt to cooked apple and stir to combine.
- Either dollop mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper, or pour it into a silicon mold of your choice.
- Top with reserved apple.
- Freeze for 3-4 hours or until ready to eat.
